A very special, very glamorous set for a very special occasion. A wedding could be such an occasion... The necklace and bracelet are strung on bronze tigertail with "Golden Palace", Swarovski and glass beads, the fastenings and connectors are bronze, giving the set a precious vintage look. The earrings have two large Golden Palace facetted drop beads attached with a little spiral looping to the same connectors as used on the bracelet and necklace. A stunning set, understated but sparkling and glamorous all the same. See close-ups below. |

This charm bracelet reminds me of the golden light on a crisp, slightly frosty morning in late Autumn. Sparkling facetted, AB coated feature beads are set off by frosted, more facetted, Myuki (Japanese cube) beads, golden drops and seed beads. The chain is bronze with a little extender chain and a beaded charm. This is s a special bracelet, very luscious and sparkling. A necklace and/or earrings can be added on request. |

Cool Blue |

The necklace has been inspired by the jewellery I saw in Nice, using different size links. The centre piece is a cool blue (turquoise) drop shaped catseye bead, surrounded by faceted beads in teal and blue, a few shimmery blue glass beads and blue jade beads with a pale blue glass tube and seed beads to bring it all together. There are also some twisted connectors to add interest. The earrings match the necklace perfectly. The necklace is very simple so I went a bit more over the top with the earrings. I always try to strike a balance with my sets so either the necklace or the earrings are more elaborate so that one enhances the other, rather than one trying to outshine the other. The earrings again include the lovely catseye bead, but additionally have some real turquoise and malachite chips and filigree silver plated and pale blue Magatama beads to make them into something quite stunning. |

I've named the set 'Innocence', because it's made with a silverplated quite fine chain, rose quartz chips and beads, glass and opalite beads and some Miyuki cubes and Magatama drops. To finish it of it includes some silver discs hung from little straight connectors and the tiny but beautifully formed little rose. Unfortunately, the discs look much darker on the images than they are in reality - just imagine little mirrors. :-) |

I've used wonderful Japanese Magatama beads to create a glimmering, slithering liquid effect, like water rushing over rocks. There are also a few very pale blue larger (facetted) drops, and the necklace includes a centre piece of a very beautiful barock Swarovski pendant. The earrings and bracelet continue the theme. |

When
I began the design, I started with some new spiral beads. They had a
lovely smooth but matt texture with the actual spiral picked out in
a glossy line . This use of two different textures in one bead gave
me the idea for the design. I wanted to use more different textured
black beads, so I found: the faceted jet black beads, smooth, shiny
black squares, charcoal rough textured Japanese seed beads, small black
diamond Czech beads, slick hematite hearts and glistening black leaf
shaped drops. I then realised that I had opposites in the shapes as
well - round and square, soft and faceted, simple and elaborate, which
gave the necklace its name: Yin and Yang. |

This bracelet conveys to me the feeling of a cold winter night with a starry sky. I've used several different star charms and a moon charm covered in more stars. The silverplated chain is covered in two different types of magatamas (Japanese drop beads), which I love using at the moment. They add a twinkle and sparkle to the bracelet, which (to me) makes it very different and special |

| The picture doesn't do it justice, however it's very difficult to photograph white/clear beads. I've used several different types of daggers and drops, including Magatamas, Czech facetted bicones - clear and frosted, lace agate, rock crystal, and moonstone chips, and a few glass beads (cracked glass and clear). The necklace is strung on a very thin silver plated chain with a pretty clasp and it sparkles and glitters like bits of ice in the sunshine. |

The silver plated bracelet has been made with different sized jump rings (twisted, oval and plain) that are connected in a similar way to chainmail and been combined with Pacific Opal, and Blue Zircon Swarovski beads. This is very special and shimmers most beautifully. |

The jade and bronze necklace shimmers lovely and it's unusal with the gorgeous jade and gold rectangle beads. I added quite a few vintage beads and some connectors to make it interesting. I've tried it out on different coloured t-shirts and it works perfectly with cream, black, different shades of green, dark brown, chocolate brown, maroon and purple. All this season's colours. |

The teal necklace was made with copper findings and the large drop shaped beads have come all the way from China. They are framed in copper and look stunning all by themselves, but for such a long necklace I wanted to make it more interesting so I added more beads, including some beautiful vintage beads. |

Very
long flapper necklaces are currently the latest fashion, however they
aren't very versatile as they are usually not long enough to be worn
any other way. For this reason I've designed a very, very long necklace
that can be worn three ways - very long, twice and three times wrapped
around. I am sure there are some ways I've missed, but it's a playful,
versatile design that will look great no matter how it is worn. I could
even imagine it being worn as a belt on a little black dress. Fun! |
